KEEFEKTIFAN ANTARA BIMBINGAN BELAJAR SIANG DENGAN BIMBINGAN BELAJAR MALAM TERHADAP NILAI TRY OUT UJIAN NASIONAL

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness between afternoon tutoring and evening tutoring on the value of the National Examination Try Out on Mathematics Class XII Wahidiyah High School. This type of research is quantitative research with a comparative problem formulation. The population in this study were all students of class XII SMA Wahidiyah. By calculating the normality test and the homogeneity test of the population by using the Try Out National Examination before the tutoring is held, it is found that the population is in a normal and homogeneous state. The number of samples in this study amounted to 14 students, with a sampling technique that is random sampling by lottery and each class was 7 students. The data collection technique is done by the documentation method. After obtaining data, then the data is analyzed to test the hypothesis. In testing the hypothesis the researcher used the t-test. Based on the calculation of t-test with a significant level = 5% obtained tcount = 1.46, while ttable = 2.056. Because tcount (1.46) <ttable (2,056), from this it can be said that the average value of the National Examination Try Out after afternoon tutoring is higher than the National Examination Try Out value after night tutoring. In addition, by looking at the average value of the National Examination Try Out after afternoon tutoring (̅1) 34.64 higher than the average National Examination Try Out value after night tutoring (̅2) 29.46, it can be concluded that Afternoon tutoring is more effective than evening tutoring on the value of the Try Out of the National Examination in Mathematics XII Class Wahidiyah High School.
