URGENSI PROGRAM NIKAH GRATIS DI KECAMATAN NGADILUWIH

Abstract

The cost of marriage can not be avoided from every couple who wants to change their status to become married. The bride and groom must be able to estimate and prepare the wedding costs so that the wedding can take place properly but it is undeniable that there are also some tragic events for the bride and groom such as eloping, sirri and even suicide which turned out to be one of the factors is the amount of the wedding costs, even it becomes more costly when there are illegal collection from some elements from the village or from the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). To cope with the increasing number of problems that arise in the community, the Government has issued Government Regulation No. 48 of 2014 which contains amendments to government regulation No. 47 of 2004 concerning tariffs on types of Non-Tax State Government that apply to the Ministry of Religion that stipulation of the cost of marriage registration at KUA on hours and working days are Rp. 00 (zero rupiah) and if carried out outside the KUA, a fee of Rp. 600,000 will be charged. Exceptions to economically disadvantaged citizens and / or disaster victims who are carrying out marriages. But is the free marriage program (Marriage Fee of Rp. 0) considered urgent by the people of Ngadiluwih Subdistrict? The study was conducted by interviewing the Chairperson, headman, staff and prospective brides who registered a free marriage program at KUA Ngadiluwih Subdistrict, followed by analyzing the number of marriage registrants, and finally comparing the data in the year after and before the entry into force of the marriage program law free. From the results of the study can be seen that the marriage registrar in the district. Ngadiluwih increased dramatically after the implementation of the free marriage program and most of the opinion that the free marriage program is very important to be held to minimize problems in the community.
