OPTIMALISASI PENGELOLAAN ZAKAT PRODUKTIF SEBAGAI SOLUSI KESEJAHTERAAN UMAT (STUDI DI BADAN AMIL ZAKAT NASIONAL KOTA KEDIRI)

Abstrak

In the past, zakat management was confectionary, namely in the form of consumptive zakat, where consumptive distribution was considered less beneficial for a long time. However, currently zakat management has begun to develop, one of which is productive zakat which management like this is seen as being able to improve the welfare of the people because, the distribution of productive zakat is not to be spent but developed. BAZNAS Kediri City is one of the institutions that implements zakat management productively, which is expected to be pursued optimally so that it can prosper the people. This study aims to find out how to optimize productive zakat management in BAZNAS Kediri City. This research is an empirical legal research and uses a sociological approach where this research looks at how productive zakat management exists in BAZNAS Kediri City. From the results of this study, it shows that the form of optimization of productive zakat carried out by BAZNAS Kediri City by providing revolving business capital loan assistance to mustahiq to develop the businesses they have started, by providing this assistance, mustahiq can develop their business so that it leads to independence in terms of economy. Optimization of productive zakat management carried out by BAZNAS Kediri City has been optimally carried out This can be seen from the increase in mustahiq income after getting revolving capital loan assistance. With the provision of capital loans like this can help mustahiq in economic terms.
