STUDI DESKRIPTIF PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI KELAS XI TENTANG PEMERIKSAAN PAYUDARA SENDIRI (SADARI) DI SMA WAHIDIYAH

Abstrak

Breast cancer is a type of malignant tumor that is still the number one killer of women throughout Indonesia. Awareness of the importance of understanding what and how the cancer becomes very important, because early recognition and understanding will be able to detect every symptom of this disease early, so that this cancer can be treated early, because if it has been detected early, the treatment is effective and efficient, so it is not too dangerous and can even be handled thoroughly. The purpose of this study was to determine a descriptive study of Wahidiyah Hight School class XI teenage girl's knowladge of breast self-examination (SADARI).

This research method uses total sampling with adolescent girls population at Wahidiyah Kediri High School. Total sample of 113 female students, data were collected using a questionnaire to female students. Data processing used is frequency.

The results obtained showed that most of the knowledge of 41 female students (36.28%) was sufficient, some were well-knowledgeed 39 female students (34.52%), and lacked knowledge of 33 female students (29.20%). Students research results obtained were 16 years old (29%), 17 years (44%), 18 years (27%) entered the stage of mid-teens.
