Abstract

Plastic distillation is one method to convert plastic waste into fuel. In this research, an 8 liter volume reactor was designed, 2 kg capacity, 0.32 m high reactor and condenser with copper pipe ¼ inch made spiral with a length of 1.8 m and air cooled. The plastic waste used is PP (Polypropylene) type plastic waste using LPG as fuel. The distillation process was carried out within 150 minutes, the results of the test were 810 ml of liquid condensate and 140 ml of solid condensate with a maximum combustion temperature of 376.5°C.
