Abstract

The  movement of goods  with  a  manual  material  handling  process  causes  economic  inequality  in  work  and  has  an effect on the health of workers. Therefore an ergonomic lifting device design is needed. To achieve ergonomics, tool designs  must be adapted  to  the  anthropometry of company  employees.  This  design  aims  to  produce  a  lift  aircraft design  in  the  form of a conveyor belt  at  the  Kedunglo Air Company  as  a tool for handling  mineral  water  in  an ergonomic, safe and efficient cardboard box. Conveyor belts for Kedunglo Air Safety are designed with a capacity of 9.45 tons / hour and a length of 4.3 m and a maximum tilt angle The height of the lower end of the conveyor belt frame  from the  floor using the  5th percentile is 60 cm and the  upper end is 83 cm. The  conveyor belt elements in this plan include belts, pulleys, idler rollers, frames and motor drive dynamos.
