Fine motor skills are an important aspect of early childhood development, serving as a foundation for children's academic skills and independence. This study aims to improve children's fine motor skills through beading activities using loose parts media in Group A at RAUDHATUL ATHFAL AN NAHL Sidoarjo. This research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and Taggart model, which was conducted over two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects comprised 11 children, consisting of 6 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed an improvement in children's fine motor skills from the pre-cycle to Cycle I and Cycle II. On the indicator of holding the loose parts and string properly, scores increased from 27% (pre-cycle) to 82% (Cycle I) and 100% (Cycle II). The indicator of correctly threading the loose parts onto the string increased from 27% to 55% and 100%. The indicator of focusing on completing the activity increased from 27% to 64% and 100%. The indicator of threading without dropping the materials increased from 18% to 55% and 82%. The indicator of performing the activity without much assistance increased from 18% to 36% and 82%. The indicator of producing a neat and sequential threaded arrangement increased from 18% to 36% and 82%. This study concludes that beading activities using loose parts media are effective in improving the fine motor skills of young children.
