PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAPHASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MATERI JARAK DIMENSI TIGA

This study aims to determine: (1) To find out the results of learning mathematics before being treated Problem Based
Learning (PBL). (2) To find out the results of learning mathematics after being given a problem based learning (PBL)
treatment. (3) To find out the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the mathematics learning
outcomes of X grade students of Wahidiyah Dimension Three School in the 2016-2017 academic year. This research is a
quantitative Pre-Experimental Design research with a "One-Group Pre-test-Post-test Design" research design. The
population of this study was Wahidiyah Kediri High School class X. The sample collection technique was determined by
the subject teacher and the researcher's agreement was taken in the X-4 class of Wahidiyah Kediri High School as many
as 38 students. The data collected is the result of students' mathematics learning in the form of description tests including
pre-test and post-test scores. Data were analyzed using t-test, previously prerequisites were tested using Lilliefors test.
The results showed that the data were normally distributed. From the results of the calculation of the pre-test and post-
test values using the t test it is known that H0 is rejected because -thitung < -ttabel, -6,489 < -2,026 means that the mean
value of pre-test is higher than the post-test.
