Learning mathematics is an abstract learning, so it requires an appropriate learning model to teach mathematics so that students can more easily understand concepts. The Independent Curriculum-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is an innovative learning centered on students and teachers as motivators and facilitators, and students are given the opportunity to process learning in class by involving project work. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the independent curriculum-based PBL learning model on learning outcomes in exponential material. The population in this study were students of Class X SMK Al Huda Kediri, using the cluster random sampling technique to obtain a sample of class X TKR 1 and class X TKR 3 as many as 58 students. The data analysis used in this research is an independent t-test. The results of this study indicate a sig value of 0.035 <0.05, this means that there is an influence of the independent curriculum-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on learning outcomes in exponential material for Class X students of SMK Al Huda Kediri.
