VALIDASI PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS KOMPUTER MENGGUNAKAN PROGRAM MACROMEDIA FLASH 8 DAN INSTRUMEN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATERI STATISTIKA

Abstract

The success of an education is not only measured by learning, but also by the way students think. Based on interviews during PPL and field observations, it shows that students' critical thinking is still low. This is evidenced by the way students answer mathematical description questions such as students who are irregular in solving problems and didn’t focus on the questions given and didn’t look for other alternatives in solving the problems given. This behavior causes the scores obtained by students to be low with an average of 7.5 and below. This study aims to describe the validation of the development of computer-based mathematics learning media using the macromedia flash 8 program and students' critical thinking skills instruments on statistics material, with the existence of these media students will be easier and more active in learning statistics material. The method used in this research is to use the type of research and development RND (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Due to limitations in data collection, this study only reached the validation or development stage, the implementation and evaluation stages were not carried out. Based on data analysis, this study succeeded in developing learning media using macromedia flash 8 in the form of interactive videos for class VIII students on statistics material. In developing learning media requires 2 analyzes, namely needs analysis (content needs and hardware and software requirements) and school analysis and student attitudes.
