The Wahidiyah Struggle Foundation at the Kedunglo Islamic boarding school in kediri, covers primary, secondary, and university education. The Islamic boarding school has religion students who comes from various regions in Indonesia so that it presents classes with students who have different regional cultures according to their area of origin. So that there is a need for teaching materials that bridge these regional differences, one of which is an Ethnomatematcs-based Student Worksheet (ESW). Teaching materials used in a learning must be valid, therefore validation of teaching materials is needed. This is due to the importance of validation of ESW teaching materials to see the suitability of teaching materials with the needs of the business/industry, so that the ESW teaching materials are suitable for use in learning. This study aims to determine the design of the ethnomatics-based worksheets on social arithmetics material meets the eligibility criteria and to find out that the validation of ethnomatics-based worksheets on social arithmetic material meets the eligibility criteria for content, language, presentation and graphics. This type of research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall development model. Due to limitations in data collection, this study only reached the validation or development stage. Based on the results of previous research and discussion, it can be concluded that the ethnomatics-based worksheets on social arithmetic material that have been developed are appropriate for use/applied to the learning process with validation data filled in by 3 validators, namely 1 mathematics lecturer, 1 mathematics teacher and 1 Indonesian language teacher. Then this teaching material is declared to meet the requirements to be fit for use as teaching material as evidenced by the overall average percentage of the feasibility of the teaching material being developed is 81% with the criteria “Very Appropriate”. The results of the validation for the content feasibility aspect of the validators 1, 2, dan 3 can be seen that the expert validation obtained a score of 82% with the criteria “Very Feasible”, for the feasibility aspect of presentation, it can be seen that expert validation obtained a value of 80% with the criteria “Feasible”, for the feasibility aspect of the language of the validator, it can be seen that the expert validation gets a score of 80% with the criteria “Feasible”, for the feasibility of the graphic it can be seen that the validation of the expert gets a score of 83% with the criteria “Very Feasible”.
