Abstract

The learning method is monotonous and less varied where learning is teacher-centered and does not involve students in teaching and learning, causing students to have difficulty understanding the concepts or materials given. To improve students' mathematics learning outcomes, it is necessary to use an appropriate learning method, so that it can provide opportunities for students to exchange opinions, collaborate with friends, interact with teachers, use or recall what they have learned, which can primarily be embedded in their thinking, such as learning in a safe environment. real. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison between learning using PMRI and conventional learning. This research method is really experimental. The research instrument used is learning outcomes. Data analysis using t-test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences between learning using PMRI and conventional learning, where PMRI is better than conventional learning in improving student learning outcomes.
