Hubungan kedisiplinan siswa dengan prestasi belajar matematika SMP Wahidiyah Kediri

Abstract

Student discipline is a compliance that reflects the student's responsibility to learn, and to obey the school rules. discipline in learning as well as in implementing school rules can avoid feeling lazy which then causes students' enthusiasm in learning and ultimately increases students' learning abilities to achieve satisfactory mathematics learning achievements. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline on learning achievement in mathematics. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlational research. The population used in this study were all class VIII SMP Wahidiyah Kediri. While the sample of this study was represented by class VIII A which consisted of 44 students. The results showed that there was a significant influence between student discipline on mathematics learning achievement in class VIII A of SMP Wahidiyah Kediri. This is indicated by the value of rcount that is equal to 0.935 > from the value of rtable which is equal to 0.291 . This means that there is an influence of discipline on student achievement in mathematics in class VIII A SMP Wahidiyah Kediri.
