Abstract

Difficulties in learning are certainly experienced by every student in learning new things, one of which is in mathematics. Difficulties in learning there are many factors that influence it, including students' learning style factors, where each student certainly has a variety of types of learning styles, there are visual learning style, auditory learning style, and kinesthetic learning style. Based on the results of the odd semester exams for class XI SMA Wahidiyah, there were 41 students who took the exam and only 9 students whose scores met the minimum standards set by the school. The purpose of this study was to determine the difficulties in learning mathematics experienced by students in terms of students' learning styles. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection through observation, questionnaires, interviews. The subjects of this study consisted of 6 students with details of 2 students for each learning style. Based on data analysis, students will find it difficult when there is no learning model that is suitable for their learning style.
