Analisis Kesalahan Mahasiswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Geometri Analitik Ruang melalui Pendekatan Polya

Abstract

This research aims to identify student errors in solving spatial analytic geometry questions on the position of points, lines and planes. The subjects of this research were third semester mathematics education students at Wahidiyah University Kediri for the 2022/2023 academic year. The type and approach in this research is a descriptive research type with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this research are documentation, tests and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by comparing data from analytical geometry tests and student interviews. From the results of the study, it was concluded that student errors in solving analytic geometry problems in material space positions of points, lines and planes were conceptual errors and calculation errors (operation errors).
