HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI SISWA TENTANG KOMPETENSI GURU TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of students' perceptions of teacher competence on learning outcomes in mathematics subject class XI IPS 1 SMA Wahidiyah Kediri. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS 1 SMA Wahidiyah Kediri. The sample in this study used a saturated sample technique. The sample in this study were all students of class XI IPS 1 of Wahidiyah Kediri Senior High School, as many as 41 respondents. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire / questionnaire and documentation techniques. Analysis of the data used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of students' perceptions about teacher competence on learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in class XI IPS 1 Wahidiyah Kediri High School. This is indicated by obtaining a tcount of 9.14 and a table of 1.684. Because the test results tcount> ttable and the value of probability or significant perceptions of students about teacher competence (X) on learning outcomes (Y) is 0,000 less than 0.05. As well as the coefficient obtained by 0.309 the meaning of this coefficient is that the influence given by the variable student perception of teacher competency is 30.9% while 69.1% is influenced by other variables. The conclusion of this study is that students' perceptions of teacher competence enhance a positive relationship with learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in class XI IPS 1 Wahidiyah Kediri High School.
