Eksperimentasi mind mapping methods terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari keterampilan berpikir kreatif Siswa SMP Wahidiyah Kediri
Abstract
Based on initial observations, the mathematics scores of the Wahidiyah Junior High School Kediri students are low and still use the lecture method. This is thought to cause students' cognitive learning outcomes to be low and inhibit creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to find out which mathematics learning outcomes and creative thinking skills are better, using the mind mapping method or the lecture method. This research method is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research type with a 2 x 3 factorial research design. The samples in this study were students of class VII A and VII B. The data analysis technique in this study used 2-way ANOVA. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who were given mind mapping methods were better than students who were given the lecture method in terms of creative thinking skills. In students who were given mind mapping methods and lecture methods, students who had high creative thinking skills were better than students who had moderate and low creative thinking skills; students who have moderate creative thinking skills are better than students who have low creative thinking skills.
