Abstract

Many people assume that someone who has a high IQ has a high learning achievement in mathematics. Whereas Intellectual Intelligence (IQ) alone is not enough to determine intelligence and guarantee one's success, but emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ) are also needed. If the three intelligences take place in a balanced manner, then it can become an educational goal, namely humans who master science and technology based on IMTAQ. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on mathematics learning achievement. This research approach uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study were students of class X SMA Wahidiyah Kediri, totaling 213 students. The sample in this study as many as 89 students obtained by purposive sampling technique. Analysis of researchdata using multiple regression. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) Emotional intelligence has no effect on mathematics learning achievement. 2) Spiritual intelligence directly has a significant positive effect on mathematics learning achievement. 3) Emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence simultaneously have a significant effect on students' mathematics learning achievement.
