Abstract

Marriage is a sacred ritual in Islam. Lately there have been many underage marriages and forced marriages. This is much influenced by various reasons, such as pregnancy out of wedlock, coercion from parents. The focus of the study of parental law compels girls to marry men who are not of their choice and the law of forced marriages according to four school priests. Thesis using the literature review method. Data collection techniques and data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting books which discuss the opinions of scholars. Opinions of scholars such as Imam Shafi'i, Imam Malik and Imam Hanbal justify coercion to girls with the record must be a father or grandfather, in addition to both the coercion is not justified. The Imam Hanafi does not justify the coercion of girls and widows when it comes to marriage.
