MASIFNYA ANGKA PERCERAIAN AKIBAT RENDAHNYA TINGKAT PEREKONOMIAN KELUARGA

Kediri District Religious Courts in 2017 have ruled out 3,442 divorce disputes with various factors underlying them. Based on existing factors, divorce with economic factors becomes the most massive with a total of 1,456 cases. This study uses a qualitative research approach, taking the location in the Kediri District Religious Court as the case study case. As for data collection methods used are documentation and interviews. The data collected is then processed using data reduction analysis, categorization, synthesization, and then a conclusion is drawn. After the data were analyzed, the results showed that several patterns were found to couse divorce due to the low family ecomony including: the husband did not provide a living for this wife and family, the husband left the wife, the wife left the husband, and the occurrence of domestic violence. In addition, two indicators have been found to be the cause of the phenomenon, namely low education and low quality of husband and wife work. The phenomenon of the husband does not provide a living for his wife and family, as well as two indicators, namely the low level of education and husband and wife work whice is the couse of the increasing divorce rate.
