MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF DALAM MENGENAL ANGKA DENGAN METODE PERMAINAN 3C (CARD CUPCAKE COLOUR)

Abstract

The cognitive abilities of children in recognizing numbers in group A at Wahidiyah Kindergarten Plus are not well developed yet. This is allegedly because the teachers are inacurately choose monotonous media and learning methods. The purpose of this study is to determine cognitive abilities in recognizing numbers, applying the 3C (Card Cupcake color) game method in group A at Wahidiyah Kindergarten Plus, Mojoroto District, in Kediri, in Academic Year 2017/2018 This research was a classroom action research. The research subjects were 10 children using the 3C (Card Cupcake color) game method. The object of this research was the cognitive ability of children to recognize numbers. Data collection techniques are done using observation and documentation. The instrument used was the observation instrument sheet. The data analysis technique was carried out with the indicators of success being applied, namely 75% of 10 children had cognitive abilities in recognizing numbers. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the results of the study show that cognitive ability in recognizing numbers in group A TK Plus Wahidiyah, Mojoroto District, Kediri City in 2017/2018 in the pre-cycle stage was 40%, in cycle I was 60%, and cycle II was 80% . The acquisition of cycle II proved that this study has reached an indicator of success, the cognitive abilities of children in recognizing number has increased ≥75%.
