This research is motivated by building the language skills of kindergarten children in improving children's language skills using pop up book media. This study aims to improve the oral language skills of students of Group B TK Plus Wahidiyah Wiyung Surabaya through learning activities using pop up book media. The subjects of this study were students of group B TK Plus Wahidiyah Wiyung Surabaya for the 2019-2020 school year, which consisted of 12 students. Language learning still uses LKA and tells stories without media with one-way communication, this makes children feel bored and tired quickly. In order for children's oral language creativity to increase better, a fun medium is needed, namely pop up book media. This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles, each of which had stages: planning, observation, evaluation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are test and non-test, non-test through observation, and test through performance. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that there was an increase in children's language skills in each cycle. In the indicator the child can communicate, speak fluently when telling the contents of the story, the initial condition of the child's ability is 58.33% which is a very good improvement, in the first cycle the child's ability increases to 66.66% and increases even better in the second cycle, namely 91.66%. In the indicator of Children who dare to express their opinions and beliefs in pop up book media, in the initial condition 50.00% developed very well. In the first cycle it increased by 75.00%, and in the second cycle it increased again to 91.66%. In the indicator children can retell the contents of the story sequentially at the initial condition of the child there was 41.66%, while in the first cycle it increased to 58.33%, and increased even better in the second cycle, namely 83.33%. This increase exceeds the success indicator to be achieved, namely 75%. Based on this description, it can be concluded that using pop up book media can improve the oral language creativity skills of group B Kindergarten students. It is recommended that teachers develop more varied pop up book media to improve their abilities. kindergarten children's language.
