ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU DALAM PERENCANAAN PRODUKSI PADA PERUSAHAAN KAOS GAPLEK KEDIRI

Abstract

Given the importance of raw material supplies and the costs that must be allocated, the company needs to control the raw material inventory for the production process as well as for planning the next production process so that the raw material inventory at the Kediri Gaplek Shirt Company is not too large or too little so that it can result in an increase in inventory costs and the occurrence of shortages or out of stock. This study aims to determine the amount of economical raw materials for every purchase in 2018 and to determine the total cost in one production process at the Kediri Gaplek t-shirt company. This type of research used in research is a descriptive approach using qualitative methods. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the total cost of raw material inventory when calculated using the EOQ method is IDR 22,248,596 while without using the EOQ method is IDR 105,600,000. So the difference in the cost of raw material inventory using the EOQ method and without using the EOQ method is IDR 83,351,404. then there is a cost savings in the supply of raw materials in the cassava t-shirt company if you use the EOQ method.
