Abstrak

Students and alumni often struggle to find jobs matching their competencies, as vacancy information is widely scattered without regard to applicant-employer compatibility. A survey of 50 students and alumni at Universitas Wahidiyah found 72% faced this difficulty, while 92% needed a profile-based recommendation system. This study developed a web-based career recommendation system, UniwaHire, integrating the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine criteria weights and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to rank job alternatives based on four criteria: technical competence, career interest, GPA, and vacancy requirements. The system was built using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. Results show technical competence obtained the highest weight (0.4909), with a Consistency Ratio of 0.0737, confirming matrix consistency. In the case study, the Programming and Web Designer alternative achieved the highest preference value (1.0000). Black Box Testing confirmed all system features functioned properly. The AHP-TOPSIS integration in UniwaHire proved effective in generating more objective job recommendations aligned with users' competencies and career interests.
